Wear your scars like the badges of honour that they are. Being grateful for every good day you get with chronic illness. A short walk out in some light can do wonders to chase away the winter blues. You may need more time and energy now to complete the same tasks as before you were ill, but that’s perfectly okay. When the twentieth surgeon you see finally believes you, and the surgery that follows proves shocking. Wanting to do the simple everyday things that other mothers can do with ease.
