In this issue: Self-awareness is about knowing ourselves better, so we can use strategies with more precision to deal with our good and bad days. When you’re motivated, but your body just can’t due to chronic fatigue and pain. The problem with chronic illness is that the grieving process is a daily and not one-time thing. We all have our flaws, but also strengths; use them to lift others in need up. A beautiful panel illustration that shows that you never know what someone else may be going through or thinking about. If a doctor denies you a test or medication, ask them to note it in your chart that they refused your request. Being disabled doesn’t mean that you can’t do some physical activities, but it means that you will pay for it later with chronic pain and fatigue. Staying warm in winter can be really difficult; sometimes warmth from within is essential, such as having a warm drink. Cold weather leads to joint stiffness, which leaders to additional pain. Often people may not be avoiding you, but dealing with their own life situations.
