In this issue: It’s terrifying when you experience physical and strange symptoms from chronic illness which there are no answers for. What people don’t see – faking being well, in order to preserve dignity and get through the day. Soap is a detergent that breaks down lipids, which the coronavirus has; use it to clean surfaces. When a ‘normal’ ovarian cyst rupture won’t stop bleeding due to being on blood thinners for Antiphospholipid Syndrome. Pets are a comfort for many chronic illness people who often live in isolation due to pain. Labelling containers and drawers can be a good idea if you suffer from brain fog or memory problems. Whilst doctors don’t often talk about acceptance, it is probably the most important decision to make. When you’re undiagnosed as a child, with no label to defend the chronic fatigue and pain you experience. If you want to live and live well with chronic illness, then you have to learn how to ask for help. It can be a huge blow when your physical appearance changes due to medications and chronic illness.
