In this issue: Sometimes nourishing yourself means subtracting, and not adding more into your life. How to find a supportive chronic illness community online using social media and more. Don’t put pressure on yourself to be ‘productive’ all day; pay attention to what your mind and body need, too. When you wake up with chronic pain and think, ‘today is going to be a bad day’, and how to shift that perspective into an authentically positive one. Let go of any old or current baggages that are wasting your limited energy supply, and focus on positive change for your own wellbeing. PTSD is familiar in war victims, but there are many different kinds of trauma it can stem from as well, including medical PTSD. Mobility aids can help save you time, energy, and the subsequent pain they lead to. The surprise when so many people around you in society refuse to wear a mask, either to protect themselves or another human being. It’s not your fault that you’re chronically ill or in pain, and aren’t who you used to be; you’re trying the best you can. Whilst someone with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) might not always remember things well, that doesn’t mean that they’re stupid.
