In This Issue:

  1. Pacing with chronic illness is something spoonies know we should do, yet can be frustrating and not all that straightforward.
  2. Sometimes the power of holding space for someone who’s hurting is all they need, not fixes, solutions or answers.
  3. Self-regulation is hard compared to habits, thus it’s important to practice them constantly so you can access your coping strategies much more easily when chronic pain strikes.

  9. Evaluating what your mind and body body really need, as opposed to pushing yourself for the sake of others or for no good reason.
  10. Growing up in a family that was always bringing meals to those in need, and other tangible ways to help those living with chronic pain.
